4th Grade Teacher
A Georgia peach at heart, my husband, our dog, and I made the decision to move to the incredible city of Greenville! I originally obtained my B.A. from Wesleyan College in Macon, GA in political science. After moving to our nation’s capitol and working at a law firm, I realized that the legal profession was just not the right fit for me. I moved back to my hometown of Augusta, GA and was accepted into Georgia Teaching Fellows and The New Teacher Project. I received rigorous teacher training, and knew immediately that teaching was what I was meant to do.
This will be my fourth year in education, and my third year teaching 4th grade. In my free time, I love to cook, bake, exercise, and travel with my husband. Most of all, I am so excited to work with our students, and learn and grow with them each and every day!
