Elizabeth "Bess" Pinson

6th Grade ELA & Social Studies Teacher

I graduated from Anderson University in 2014 with a degree in multi-categorical special education and a minor in elementary education. I was raised in Greenville, SC and have recently moved back after living in Rock Hill, SC for two years. While in Rock Hill I taught 3rd and 4th grade students with learning disabilities. I also coached track and field at the high school in my district. The experience I had in York has further driven passion for reaching every student.

I currently live with my husband in Travelers Rest, SC. In my free time I love to be outside, go hiking, go to the lake, work in the garden, and do crafts. I have learned so much over the past two years teaching and am excited to continue my journey as I join the team at Lead!
